Saica opened near the University of Michigan's North Campus as a family-owned Japanese and Korean restaurant. Many things have changed since then, but our commitment to doing things right remains the same.
No Shortcuts, No Compromises
Our spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and crab salad are all made in-house. We are quite proud of these because we hold ourselves to high standards. We create our spicy fish mixes with house-made chili oil using high-grade Korean gochugaru!
More Than Sushi
Sushi is what not the only thing that we're known for. Our menu features Japanese ramen, fresh-made tempura, savory bulgogi, teriyaki, and bento boxes that are so large that you'll have enough for two dinners! We're really proud of what we have and our regulars really know what's up.
Through the Years
Families who found us years ago still come back! It's crazy seeing kids grow up and bring their own kids. This kind of loyalty can't be bought or manufactured overnight. It's through continuous, honest effort that never cuts corners and treats people right.
